Daniel is a Colombian photographer and visual artist, whose artistic journey began in the adolescence while experimenting with self-portraiture, working with themes such as fear, identity, and self-worth, this exercise worked as a cathartic outlet relevant to that moment of life, since then, portrait photography is and has been the language of artistic expression that has best been able to solve his creative needs.
As a part of later life experiences, my eye was driven towards architecture, with a particular fascination for colonial churches and religious art and iconography, a path that has allowed me to collaborate with art historians and art investigation committees in Bogotá by documenting historic places and objects.
My work has been part of collective exhibitions such as Salón Visual Bacanika, Invitación Nacional Fotográfica, Slideluck Potshow Bogota IV. Cartel Urbano included me in their section "Creadores Criollos", in 2017 I was a beneficiary of the ArtBo Tutor program of the Chamber of Commerce, which concluded with the group exhibition "otras miradas".
